Zhanna Nemtsova refuses to treat her father's murder as solved
Zhanna Nemtsova, a daughter of Boris Nemtsov, does not agree with the statement made by Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), who reported that the murder of Boris Nemtsov had been solved. Zhanna Nemtsova believes that the ICRF does not intend to solve the crime completely.
Boris Nemtsov was killed on February 27, 2015, in central Moscow. According to official data, five natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia were detained as suspects, namely, Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Shagid Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov. All of them are under arrest. On December 29, 2015, they saw their final indictment. The figurants in the case are also the officers of the Chechen battalion "Sever" (North) Ruslan Mukhudinov, who was announced wanted and is considered to be the customer of the murder, and Ruslan Geremeev.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 20, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), reported that the murder of Boris Nemtsov was solved in 2015.
"Unlike Alexander Bastrykin, I do not think the murder is completely solved," Zhanna Nemtsova has stated.
She has also noted that the top-ranking officials from the ICRF are not interested in solving the crime. Zhanna Nemtsova has emphasized that, according to its sources, Alexander Bastrykin has repeatedly refused to sign the resolution on filing the indictment against Ruslan Geremeev in absentia, the "Interfax" reports.
