After the Derbent shelling, one victim is still in hospital

Two persons, seriously wounded by gunfire in the area of the Naryn-Kala Fortress, have been discharged from hospital. Another one is recovering after a surgery, but there are no fears for his life, the spokesman of the Ministry of Public Health has reported today.

The armed attack on people in the area of the fortress, which was first reported by the "Caucasian Knot", occurred at night on December 30, 2015. After that, 12 people with gunshot wounds were taken to the Derbent hospital, one of them died.

As of January 19, out of three persons, who were seriously wounded, two have been discharged from hospital, Zarina Agmadova, an employee of the press service of the Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"The patient, who was kept at the trauma centre, on Friday, January 15, was operated on; a pin-track gear was established into him. Everything goes according to the treatment plan; and the patient will be discharged soon," said Agmadova.
