Law enforcers detain man suspected of involvement in explosion in Moscow
At the Moscow "Domodedovo" Airport, law enforcers have detained a man, suspected of disorderly conduct with the use of an explosive device, which injured five persons. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 7, 2015, in Moscow, an explosion occurred in Pokrovka Street, as a result of which five persons were wounded. A criminal case was instituted under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (disorderly conduct). On January 12, the police put on the wanted list Makhmud Akhmedov, a native of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), suspected of involvement in the crime.
According to a source from the law enforcement bodies, on January 18, at the "Domodedovo" Airport, law enforcers detained a man suspected of involvement in the explosion.
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has confirmed the information about the detention of an unemployed resident of Moscow, born in 1980. According to the preliminary information of the police, he threw a grenade from an attic of a building near a public transport station. This has been reported today by the press service of the Russian MIA.
Makhmud Akhmedov, a native of Northern Caucasus, born in 1983, put on the wanted list after the explosion, is not involved in the crime, the MIA reports.
