In Armavir, rescue team finds body of man killed in explosion
In Armavir, a man was killed as a result of the explosion in the territory of a garage complex. His body was withdrawn from the ruins of the collapsed building. This was reported by a source from the operational services of the Krasnodar Territory.
The explosion occurred in the Armavir garage complex in Turgenev Street on January 4, at 8:25 p.m. Moscow time.
"While removing the ruins at the place of the incident, the rescue team found a body of a deceased man. The investigating authorities are carrying out an investigation," the "Interfax-South" quotes an official from the regional investigating authorities as reporting.
According to the Department for the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), the explosion damaged seven private garages and five vehicles. According to eyewitnesses, the shock wave shattered windows of several apartments in a residential building No. 410 in Lunacharsky Street.
Till present, there is no information on the preliminary causes of the explosion.
