Giorgi Kvirikashvili appointed Georgia's Premier

The resolution to appoint Giorgi Kvirikashvili to the post of Prime Minister of Georgia has been signed by President Giorgi Margvelashvili.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Kvirikashvili presented his program to the yesterday's parliamentary session; and the MPs supported it by a majority vote.

Earlier, an act of approval Kvirikashvili on his new post was signed by the Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Usupashvili, the "Sputnik-Georgia" reports.

Let us remind you that on December 23, Irakli Garibashvili, the then Premier, announced his retirement. Kvirikashvili, who worked as the Georgian Foreign Minister and was, at the same time, Deputy Prime Minister, was suggested to the post of the Premier.
