Inna Blenaova placed under house arrest

Inna Blenaova, a resident of Nalchik, suspected of aiding Robert Zankishiev, the leader of the local branch of the "Islamic State" (IS – a terrorist organization banned in Russia), who was killed during a special operation on November 10, is at home: the court chose a freedom restriction measure for her in the form of house arrest.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 10 power agents blocked a multi-storey building in Nalchik in Second Taman Division Street, where, according to their data, Robert Zankishiev and his Muslim wife were hiding. Zankishiev was shot during the assault, and Blenaova was wounded and hospitalized.

Now she is at home with her children, the source said. He added that after the event, when Zankishiev was killed in Blenaova's apartment, the woman lived quietly; nobody persecuted her. She has an advocate.

Let us note here that earlier Blenaova said that she had not been involved in militants' activities and had not supported members of the armed underground. According to her version, as soon as she learned that Robert Zankishiev was on the wanted list, they did not live together.
