Volgograd truckers stop their strike near Moscow
Today, the last five heavy-duty trucks, whose drivers kept protesting against the "Platon" system in Kashira Highway, have left the park and headed to Volgograd, said Alexei Ulyanov, the coordinator of the action.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 29 a column of heavy-duty trucks left Volgograd and arrived at a parking lot in a suburb of Moscow. As of December 16, six Volgograd trucks were still there.
According to Ulyanov, nobody has left in the parking lot. He added that in Volgograd he plans to create, together with his supporters, the Union of Entrepreneurs and Carriers, and will also help in creating similar alliances in other regions of the Southern Federal District (SFD).
Let us remind you that truckers' protests in Southern Russia continue only in Dagestan. By December 17, according to strikers, 50-60 people and 70 heavy trucks continued their strike near Khasavyurt.
Experts noted that drivers were ready to resume work, while continuing protesting against the "Platon" system.
