Volgograd truckers complain about provocations staged near Moscow
At a parking lot in the Moscow Region, several drivers of trucks with Voronezh state licence numbers tried to provoke a fight. This was reported by Alexei Ulyanov, the coordinator of the protest action of truck drivers from the Volgograd Region. According to him, the riots have been avoided. The police continue to block the exit from the parking lot, and truck drivers are waiting for a meeting with Ella Pamfilova.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a convoy of trucks left Volgograd for Moscow on November 29. On November 30, the trucks were stopped at a checkpoint of the road police (known as GIBDD) in the Voronezh Region, and on December 1, they were stopped in the Moscow Region. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, a group of truck drivers from Volgograd was detained on the highway M-4 "Don". On December 2, the Volgograd truck drivers complained that the police blocked their trucks on the parking lot.
According to Alexei Ulyanov, during the meeting of the Presidential Human Rights Council (HRC) devoted protests truckers and held on December 2, Ella Pamfilova announced that on December 3, she would meet the Volgograd truck drivers.
During the discussion, no effective solutions to the problem have been found, the "Kommersant" reports. The head of the "Rosavtodor" (Federal Road Agency) has threatened the operator of the system "Platon" with fines for failures in its work; Alexander Sovetnikov, the head of the "RTITS" (the "RTITS" Company is the operator of the "Platon" system, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), promised to "eliminate troubles given the views of market stakeholders"; and Ella Pamfilova took the situation "under her personal control."
