NAC reports on destruction of workshop for manufacturing bombs in Nalchik
In the course of a special operation carried out in Nalchik, a workshop for manufacturing of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) has been destroyed. Two ready-to-use IEDs have been defused. This was reported by the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, at 8:00 a.m., the counterterrorist (CTO) legal regime was introduced in the vicinity of Nalchik. According to the NAC, in the special operation carried out in the vicinity of Nalchik, law enforcers killed 11 militants, who had sworn allegiance to the "Islamic State" (IS) (banned in Russia and recognized as a terrorist organization). The CTO legal regime in the vicinity of Nalchik was cancelled at 1:00 p.m. Moscow time.
"The discovered dugout hid a workshop equipped for manufacturing of IEDs, which contained two ready-to-use IEDs. The approaches to the camp were mine-studded, and the very dugout was camouflaged and arranged for a long stay," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the NAC as reporting.
According to the NAC, a significant amount of firearms and ammunition was discovered at the place of the armed clash.
