Court refuses to change pre-trial measure against policeman Azamat Tsukkiev
The Supreme Court of North Ossetia has left in custody policeman Azamat Tsukkiev, a suspect in the criminal case of the death of Vladimir Tskaev.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 9, the Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz pronounced the decision to arrest Azamat Tsukkiev for one month and 26 days. He has become the third defendant in the criminal case, and on November 5, the Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz pronounced the decision to take into custody policemen Atsamaz Datiev and Oleg Dzampaev. The policemen deny their involvement in the death of Vladimir Tskaev.
The defence of Azamat Tsukkiev has filed a complaint against the Court's decision on the arrest.
Today, the Supreme Court of North Ossetia has dismissed the appeal and upheld the Court's decision on the arrest of Azamat Tsukkiev, a staff member of the Department for Vladikavkaz of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), who is suspected of abuse of power with the use of violence.
