Murtazaliev dismissed from post of Chief of Dagestani Branch of Russian Pension Fund

Sagid Murtazaliev, Chief of the Dagestani Branch of the Russian Pension Fund, accused of serious crimes and arrested in absentia, has been dismissed from his post.

On September 9, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) reported that Sagid Murtazaliev was put on the international wanted list and arrested in absentia by the court. Together with Andrei Vinogradov, the head of the Kizlyar District of Dagestan, detained on July 27, Sagid Murtazaliev is involved in the case for several crimes, including terrorist financing and organization of attempted murder.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to sources from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan, in the morning of October 22, law enforcers blocked the entrances and exits at the building of the Russian Pension Fund in Makhachkala and began seizing documents. It was also reported that investigators were conducting searches at the Dagestani Branch of the Russian Pension Fund.

Sagid Murtazaliev, Chief of the Dagestani Branch of the Russian Pension Fund, who is under investigation and who is arrested in absentia, has been dismissed from his post, the "Kommersant" reports with reference to the Dagestani Branch of the Russian Pension Fund.

The Board of the Russian Pension Fund has made the decision to dismiss Sagid Murtazaliev "due to the termination of his access to state secret", the "Vestnik Kavkaza" reports with reference to the Dagestani Branch of the Russian Pension Fund.

At present, Rufina Magomedova takes office as the Acting Chief of the Dagestani Branch of the Russian Pension Fund.
