Investigators request to extend arrests of persons accused of Boris Nemtsov's murder

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow has scheduled the consideration of the motion for extension of the arrests of the defendants in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder for November 23-25.

Today, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has sent to the Court a motion to extend the arrests of the defendants, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by Anna Fadeeva, the press secretary of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow.

"The Basmanny District Court of Moscow has received materials requesting to extend the period of detention in custody for the persons accused of the murder of Boris Nemtsov. The consideration of the motion for extending the detention in SIZO (pre-trial prison) for suspected killer Zaur Dadaev is scheduled for 12:00 a.m. Moscow time of November 23. At 11:00 a.m. Moscow time of November 24, the Court will examine the materials requesting to extend the period of detention in custody for Anzor Gubashev. At 12:00 a.m. Moscow time of November 25, the Basmanny Court will consider the materials requesting to extend the arrest of Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, and Shadid Gubashev," Anna Fadeeva has clarified.

According to her, the investigators ask to extend the term of detention in custody for the defendants until February 2016.

Let us remind you that today the Basmanny Court of Moscow has issued in absentia a warrant for arrest of Ruslan Mukhudinov, an officer of the battalion "Sever" (North), also accused of the organization of the Boris Nemtsov's murder.
