Third defendant charged in case of Vladimir Tskaev's death
A staff member of the Criminal Investigation Department for Vladikavkaz of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), who had been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the death of detained Vladimir Tskaev, was accused of abuse of power with the use of violence. This was reported at the website of the Investigating Department of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 5, the Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz pronounced the decision to take into custody policemen Atsamaz Datiev and Oleg Dzampaev, detained on suspicion of involvement in the death of detained Vladimir Tskaev. On November 9, the Court arrested Azamat Tsukkiev, a policeman from the Iriston OVD (Interior Division), the third person involved in the criminal case. On November 13, Atsamaz Datiev and Oleg Dzampaev were charged with abuse of power with the use of violence.
At night of November 1, 39-year-old Vladimir Tskaev, suspected of wounding a policeman from a firearm, died in a hospital in Vladikavkaz. According to his relatives, Vladimir Tskaev died from torture. The defendants in the criminal case have denied their involvement in the death of Vladimir Tskaev.
