Makhachkala resident Nariman Abuzyarov accused of involvement in armed underground

The criminal case against Nariman Abuzyarov, a resident of Makhachkala, accused of purchasing food for a militant grouping and transportation of militants, has been brought to the court.

According to investigators, in September 2013, Nariman Abuzyarov joined the Makhachkala militant grouping. His responsibilities included purchasing of food for the members of the militant grouping and their transportation through the city in his car.

The criminal case against Nariman Abuzyarov has been brought to the Soviet District Court of Makhachkala for consideration on the merits, the website of the Prosecutor's Office for Dagestan reports.

Nariman Abuzyarov is charged with involvement in an armed formation not envisaged by the federal law (Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The Article stipulates the maximum penalty of up to ten years of imprisonment.
