Whereabouts of Musliev brothers unknown yet
Iskhak and Ismail Musliev, who disappeared in Argun, have not been found by law enforcers yet, his relative report. Law enforcement bodies of Chechnya refused to comment on the kidnapping.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 9 the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" reported that relatives of Musliev brothers, the 34-year-old Ismail and the 25-year-old Iskhak, could not establish their whereabouts since October 28. According to the HRC, at night on October 28, house of the Muslievs "was stormed by armed men in masks and black uniform of special agents", who took the brothers to some unknown place. One of the brothers was shown in the report of the Chechen State TV and Radio Company (ChSTRC) "Grozny" about the residents of Argun, who had allegedly plotted an attempt on Kadyrov and later were pardoned by him, the HRC reports.
On November 2, the Chechen State Radio and TV Company (ChSRTC) "Grozny" announced the prevention of an assassination attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov plotted by the young men from the town of Argun. In front of the TV cameras, Ramzan Kadyrov himself had a conversation with residents of Argun, who, according to him, fell victims to the extremist propaganda. A source from the law enforcement bodies has reported that all the detainees were released without any charges.
One of Muslievs' relatives told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that so far relatives could not establish what happened to Iskhak and Ismail.
"Our attempts to find out anything through personal connections in law enforcement bodies have failed. Nobody knows anything, or maybe knows but is afraid to talk," said the source.
Law enforcement bodies of Chechnya refused to comment on the information about kidnapping of Iskhak and Ismail Musliev.
