Buynaksk: detained mosque-goer released
In Buynaksk, one of two believers of a Salafi mosque detained by law enforcers has been released without any charges. Officials from the Buynaksk Police refused to comment on the situation.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 6, in Buynaksk, eyewitnesses reported that law enforcers detained two believers of the Salafi mosque. Officials from the GOVD (City Interior Division) have reported that no detainees were brought to their place.
No charges have been filed against the released mosque-goer, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a resident of Buynaksk.
"Magomed has been released. They kept him at the GOVD until the evening of November 8 and then let him go home. No charges have been filed against him," the Buynaksk resident has explained.
According to him, he is not aware of the fate of the second detainee.
An official from the Buynaksk GOVD has refused to comment on the situation to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
