Ramzan Kadyrov expects to bring judge of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Court to justice
The Sakhalin Regional Court is to make a special ruling to bring to justice the judge, who recognized as extremist the book "Prayer to Allah". This was stated by the Chechen leader. The Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of the Asian part of Russia has announced that additional copies of the book will be published.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, the Sakhalin Regional Court has cancelled the decision of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk City Court on recognition of the book "Prayer to Allah" as extremist, as Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and the Russian Council of Muftis sought. The Court has also decided to dismiss the appeal filed by the Prosecutor's Office for Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to recognized fragments of the book "Prayer to Allah" as extremist.
Advocate Said-Magomed Chapanov, who represents the Ramzan Kadyrov's interests, has noted that the Court did not pronounce the decision on the special ruling. He hopes that the pronouncement of the special ruling against the Prosecutor's Office and the Court "would entail disciplinary conclusions."
In his turn, Nafigulla-Khazrat Ashirov, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of the Asian part of Russia, has stated that "believers are satisfied with the Court's decision."
Ramzan Kadyrov himself has called the decision pronounced by the Sakhalin Regional Court a "triumph of the words of Allah."
