NAC calls Abdulgasan Abdulkhalikov a leader of Makhachkala militants

Abdulgasan Abdulkhalikov, killed today in the village of Novy Khushet, was the leader of the "Makhachkala" militant grouping. This was reported by the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC). The NAC has also announced that one of the linemen of the railway has survived after the attack on them, in which Abdulgasan Abdulkhalikov was killed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, in the Makhachkala village of Novy Khushet, linemen of the railway were attacked. After the attack, law enforcers launched a special operation, in which a man was killed, and pre-identified as Abdulgamid Abdulkhalikov.

According to the updated information of the NAC, the name of the killed man was Abdulgasan and not Abdulgamid. According to law enforcers, recently, Abdulgasan Abdulkhalikov was a leader of the armed underground in Makhachkala, and it was him who attacked the linemen of the railway, in which one of them was killed and another was wounded. During the special operation, Abdulgasan Abdulkhalikov was offered to surrender; however, he opened fire on law enforcers and was killed, the "Interfax" reports with reference to the NAC.

Abdulgasan Abdulkhalikov was born in 1973. He was brought to criminal responsibility for illegal possession of weapons and involvement in the armed underground, the "LifeNews" reports with reference to the NAC.
