CTO legal regime cancelled in Dagestan

Law enforcers have cancelled the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime in the Leninsky District of Makhachkala and the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that this morning, in the Makhachkala village of Novy Khushet, linemen of the railway were attacked. After the attack, the law enforcers launched a special operation, in which, according to them, the leader of Makhachkala militants was killed. Besides, the CTO legal regime was also introduced within the territory of the garden community "Chokh-Roso" in the Karabudakhkent District in connection with the search for members of the armed underground carried out there.

"The CTO legal regime was cancelled in connection with the completion of the operational activities," the "Chernovik" (Draft) quotes an official from the Operational Headquarters for Dagestan as reporting.
