Second policeman arrested in case of Vladimir Tskaev's death
Field investigator Oleg Dzampaev, suspected of involvement in the death of Vladikavkaz resident Vladimir Tskaev, has been taken into custody by the court's decision until January 2.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 4, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) announced the detention of two staff members of the Criminal Investigation Department for Vladikavkaz on suspicion of abuse of power and use of violence. Today, Atsamaz Datiev, one of the policemen, has been taken into custody by the court's decision for 1.5 months.
At night of November 1, 39-year-old Vladimir Tskaev, suspected of wounding a policeman from a firearm, died at the Vladikavkaz Republican Clinical Hospital. The North Ossetian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported that the man had "injured himself".
Today, the Leninsky Court of Vladikavkaz has granted the second motion filed by the investigator and pronounced the decision to take Oleg Dzampaev, a field investigator of the Iriston OVD (Interior Division) of Vladikavkaz, into custody until January 2.
Earlier, users of social networks have questioned the cause of the Vladimir Tskaev's death. The photos of the man's body disseminated in the social network show signs of violence used against the detainee. According to his relatives, Vladimir Tskaev died from torture.
