Coordinator of "International Human Rights Alliance" detained in Volgograd
The police detained Anatoly Boltykhov, a Volgograd coordinator of the "International Human Rights Alliance", in the yard of his house. This was reported by Mikhail Yasin, the leader of the "Human Rights Centre of Volgograd".
According to Mikhail Yasin, he was detained together with Anatoly Boltykhov; however, later, the police released him.
"The police drew up a protocol against Anatoly Boltykhov under Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code for 'public demonstration' of the symbols of the banned organization 'Right Sector' in the social network 'VKontakte' (the Russian Supreme Court recognized the 'Right Sector' as an extremist organization and banned its activities in Russia, note of the "Caucasian Knot"). The page of Anatoly Boltykhov on the above social network posted a photo of Dmitry Yarosh [the leader of the 'Right Sector'] with some friends. Anatoly associates his detention with his activities concerning the investigation into corruption schemes in the residential settlement of Gorodische, as it was reported by the "Caucasian Knot". Anatoly Boltykhov denies his guilt, and tomorrow, the trial will take place," Mikhail Yasin has noted.
He has added that Anatoly Boltykhov is being kept at the police station No. 4 of the Central District of Volgograd. "Anatoly Boltykhov is one of the organizers of the Russian march in Volgograd," Mikhail Yasin has said.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in May, the coordinator of the "International Human Rights Alliance" in Volgograd informed the edition about the search.
