Special services declare prevention of terror act in Krasnodar Territory

Special agents detained a Russian citizen, who campaigned in social networks in favour of terrorism, prepared an explosion in an electric train in the Krasnodar Territory and planned to go to Syria to join the "Islamic State" (IS), the Russian FSB reports.

According to investigators, the detainee was administering a group in the social network "VKontakte", where he posted materials justifying the actions of international terrorist organizations banned in Russia.

Ferzaliev, A. K., worked as an operator assistant in the Krasnodar Territory. According to the FSB, he confessed that he had decided to explode a homemade bomb in the electric train in the railway depot.

He had requested the instruction on how to make a bomb from a participant of the warfare in Syria; and after the blast he planned to travel to go there and join the IS, recognized a terrorist organization, the TASS reports.

Ferzaliev is arrested and charged with public calls to terrorism, or public justification thereof, the "Interfax" reports.
