After dispersal of rally in Buynaksk, "Party of Veterans of Russia" asks Ramazan Abdulatipov for meeting
Leaders of the political party "Party of Veterans of Russia" have addressed to Dagestani leader Ramazan Abdulatipov a proposal for a meeting. Party members intend to discuss with the Dagestani leader the situation in Buynaksk, where police dispersed a meeting of deputies with voters on October 16.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 16, law enforcers did not allow members of the City Council from the "Party of Veterans of Russia" to meet voters. On October 19, Zaur Shakhverdiev, Chairman of the Buynaksk City Council, filed a complaint to the FSB about the threats received from the City Mayor' relatives.
On October 20, at the meeting of the Presidium of the "Party of Veterans of Russia" held in Moscow, it was decided on the need to meet Ramazan Abdulatipov. This was reported by Ildar Rezyapov, the leader of the Party. According to him, the members of the Party believe that the information about the situation in Buynaksk is brought to Ramazan Abdulatipov "in a distorted way."
Ildar Rezyapov has noted that after meeting with Ramazan Abdulatipov, the party members will make a decision to file to the investigative and supervisory bodies the complaints about prevention of deputy activity by law enforcers, use of violence against power officials and organization of riots during the meeting with voters on October 16.
