Bodies of Sardarov brothers buried outside village of Novy Kurush, local resident reports

The bodies of the people killed during the special operation in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan have been given out to their relatives. This was reported by a local resident. According to a source from the police, Sardarov brothers were wanted on suspicion of murdering Imam Khidirov, and two other killed men were registered at the police as accomplices of militants.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 17, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, law enforcers killed four men. According to investigators, the killed men were identified as Rasul and Alkhas Sardarov, Yasim Batraev and Djumart Shikhragimov.

Out of four men killed in the special operation, two Rasul and Alkhas Sardarov were wanted. They were put on the wanted list immediately after the murder of the Imam of the village of Novy Kurush, reports a source from the Khasavyurt ROVD (District Interior Division).

The source has also reported that Djumart Shikhragimov and Yasim Batraev were not formally wanted; however, according to the operative information, the killed men were engaged in aiding and abetting militants operating in the territory of the Khasavyurt District.

According to a local resident, who introduced himself as Astemir, relatives had to bury the bodies of the killed men outside the village.
