Investigators identify suspected militants killed in Dagestan

All four militants killed in the Khasavyurt District are identified. This was reported by the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). According to investigators, apart from Rasul and Alkhasov Sardarov, Yasim Batraev and Djumart Shikhragimov were also killed in the course of the counterterrorist operation (CTO).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 17, the CTO legal regime was introduced in the Khasavyurt District. In the course of the special operation, law enforcers killed four men, including Rasul Sardarov and Alkhas Sardarov. They were wanted on suspicion of killing the Imam of the mosque in the village of Novy Kurush in Dagestan, who was murdered on September 9. A Russian FSB fighter was wounded in the armed clash.

According to the ICRF's Investigating Department for Dagestan, four militants were killed between the villages of Kurush and Sadovoe of the Khasavyurt District.

"Members of the terrorist grouping were neutralized by return fire. They are identified as Alkhas Sardarov, born in 1987, Rasul Sardarov, born in 1987, Yasim Batraev, born in 1990, and Djumart Shikhragimov, born in 1978," the ICRF's Investigating Department for Dagestan reports.
