Law enforcers identify two persons killed in CTO in Khasavyurt District

Rasul and Alkhas Sardarov, wanted on suspicion of killing the Imam of the mosque in the village of Novy Kurush in Dagestan, are identified among four men, killed in the special operation in Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in the vicinity of three villages in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan. In the course of the special operation, the armed clash occurred, as a result of which law enforcers killed four persons.

The shootout began when the law enforcers discovered a dugout with people hiding in it. The law enforcers have preliminary identified three of four killed men, including two men, suspected of the murder of the Imam of the mosque in the village of Novy Kurush, the "Chernovik" (Draft) reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies.

Two killed men have been preliminary identified as 28-year-old Alkhas Ibragimovich Sardarov and Rasul Ruslanovich Sardarov, the "LifeNews" reports.

Let us remind you that Rasul and Alkhas Sardarov were put on the wanted list after Magomed Khidirov, Imam of a Sufi mosque in the village of Novy Kurush, was killed on September 9. According to local residents, the killed Imam had no conflicts with Salafis. The villagers were not aware of the possible involvement of Rasul and Alkhas Sardarov in the armed underground.

Till present, the websites of the law enforcement agencies published no official confirmation of the information about the persons killed in the course of the counterterrorist operation.
