Court agrees to question Ruslan Geremeev in case of Boris Nemtsov's murder

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow has confirmed the relevance for the questioning of Ruslan Geremeev in the case of the politician Boris Nemtsov's murder. Meanwhile, the Court has dismissed the motion filed by the advocate of Zhanna Nemtsova to question Ramzan Kadyrov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 30, Ramzan Kadyrov expressed his willingness to give his testimony to investigators. In August, Vadim Prokhorov, the advocate of the daughter of the killed politician, reported that the request for questioning Ramzan Kadyrov and three Geremeev family members was sent to the investigator; however, he refused to conduct the questioning. Earlier, Zhanna Nemtsova has stated that she will be ready to talk to Ramzan Kadyrov in case if he is questioned in the court.

Investigator Sergey Zhdanov has found it pointless to question Ramzan Kadyrov, since "there are no specific facts of involvement, and the fact that they know each other does not mean anything."
