Policemen wounded in Chechnya to leave hospital soon, physicians believe
The condition of three staff members of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), wounded in the course of the special operation in Grozny, is estimated by physicians as stable. They are expected to leave the hospital in the nearest future. This was reported by a MIA's official.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 8, law enforcers carried out the special operation in Grozny. As a result, according to the official information, three members of the armed underground were killed, and three law enforcers, including two officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Chechen MIA and a fighter of the Chechen OMON (riot police), were wounded.
According to the Chechen MIA's official, all three policemen have got financial assistance from the Regional Foundation named after Akhmat Kadyrov, and they "will be honoured with state awards for bravery in the line of duty."
Let us remind you that the suspected militants killed during the special operation are identified as 26-year-old Zelimkhan Bashanaev, 33-year-old Magomed Mazaev, and Shamil Chergizov. According to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), Zelimkhan Bashanaev and Shamil Chergizov were on the federal wanted list.
