On October 2, the anti-terror exercises of the law enforcement bodies were held in the Shelkovskaya District of Chechnya. On September 30, the similar anti-terror exercises were held in the city of Grozny, in the territory of the Grozny-City complex, a system of high-rise buildings, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

"On October 2, the village of Chervlyonaya of the Shelkovskaya District of Chechnya hosted the large-scale anti-terror exercises involving staff members of the regional FSB Department, the District Police Department, the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), and health professionals," the "Caucasian Knot" was informed by the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

Local residents have reported that they were not notified about the upcoming anti-terror exercises of the law enforcement bodies and that the trainings became a complete surprise for them.

"We were frightened. You never know what can happen. We have not seen such a concentration of policemen and special forces fighters for a long time," says Malika, a resident of the Shelkovskaya District.

On September 30, law enforcers also held major anti-terror exercises "Snowstorm 2015" in a building of the Grozny-City complex. The anti-terror exercises involved staff members of the FSB Department for Chechnya, the MIA, and the MfE.
