In Dagestan, CTO regime covers territory with population of about 200,000 people

In the south of Dagestan, a regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been introduced within the area with population of about 200,000 people. Law enforcers are searching for militants, who killed five hunters. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a source from the law enforcement bodies.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in connection with the search for militants, at 0:00 a.m. Moscow time of September 28, the CTO regime was introduced in the territories of the Kurakh, Magaramkent, Suleiman-Stalsky, Tabasaran, and Khiv Districts of Dagestan.

On September 18 and 19, the law enforcers found bodies of five killed local residents in the forests of the Suleiman-Stalsky District. A summer camp of militants was discovered not far from the place of the murder. On September 21, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by an official from the Suleiman-Stalsky ROVD (District Interior Division) that four residents of the Suleiman-Stalsky District were suspected of committing the crime.

Today, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been informed by a source from the law enforcement bodies that in the CTO area, the law enforcers are engaged in the activities to search for members of the "Suleiman-Stalsky" grouping of militants, who killed the local residents.
