In Dagestan, law enforcers promise to find killers of five hunters within one month

At the meeting with public activists held in Kasumkent, law enforcers of the Suleiman-Stalsky District have made a promise to find within one month the persons involved in the murder of five hunters.

On September 18 and 19, law enforcers found bodies of five killed local residents in the forests of the Suleiman-Stalsky District. A militants' summer camp was discovered not far from the place of the murder. According to a Dagestani law enforcer, four local residents are suspected of the murder.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, instead of holding an unsanctioned rally in Kasumkent, residents of the Suleiman-Stalsky District took part in the meeting of the antiterrorist commission.

According to law enforcers, they have already achieved the first results; however, they need maximum of one month to complete the investigation into the case. The participants of the meeting have expressed their dissatisfaction with the term announced, and they demanded the soonest completion of the investigation into the crime.

The chiefs of the law enforcement agencies have assured that they themselves are interested in the rapid cleansing of the district from criminals.

During the meeting of the antiterrorist commission, the local residents have also raised other issues, including those related to security. In particular, they discussed the issue related to the safety of schoolchildren of the village of Asalikent. The locals have also noted that since the villages of Asalikent and Ptikent are not supplied with gas, people have to go to the forests.
