Resident of Dagestan accused of involvement in IAF

The Dagestani Prosecutor's Office has sent to the Levashi District Court the case against Abdurakhman Gadjiev, a local resident, accused of involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF).

According to investigators, Abdurakhman Gadjiev joined the IAF, operating in the territory of the Buynaksk and Karabudakhkent Districts. Since November 2013, he used to buy and deliver food to the IAF members put on the wanted list. The investigators have revealed that the defendant also bought a car in Makhachkala and gave it to the militants.

The man is charged with committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 208 (involvement in an armed formation not stipulated by the federal law) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The case against Abdurakhman Gadjiev has been sent to the Court for consideration on the merits, the website of the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 21, the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office reported on sending to the Levashi District Court the case against Magomed Labazanov, another local resident. He is also charged under Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
