In North Ossetia, head of village found dead in his house

The body of Mairbek Kaitukov, the head of the administration of the village of Khod of the Alagir District was found with multiple stab wounds. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies of North Ossetia.

Today, the 45-year-old head of the village was found dead at about 8:00 a.m. Moscow time.

"The body of the head of the village administration with numerous stab wounds was found in his house in Stepnaya Street," the "Interfax" quotes a local law enforcer as stating.

According to him, the wife of killed Mairbek Kaitukov is a federal district judge.

The Investigating Department for North Ossetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported on opening criminal proceedings on the above fact.

The investigators have revealed that in the previous evening, Mairbek Kaitukov was visited at home by a local resident, and they had a big quarrel. The person suspected of the murder is detained.
