KBR: nine NGOs to receive support from state

The Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) reports the winners in the contest of the projects submitted by NGOs on the subjects of Cossacks, ethnic and religious relations. Today, organizers start accepting applications for the new contest for socially-oriented NGOs.

Both contests are being held by the Department for interaction with civil society institutions and nationality affairs of the KBR. The funds for the contest already completed will be allocated partially from the state budget and partially from the federal budget.

Three projects became the winners in the category of "revitalization of religious organizations in the KBR".

The projects of five NGOs declared the winners in the category of "interethnic cooperation, preservation and protection of identity, cultures, language, and traditions of the peoples of Russia".

For socially-oriented NGOs, the total amount of subsidies allocated within the frame of the contest reaches 8,486,000 roubles, reports the Department for interaction with civil society institutions and nationality affairs of KBR.
