The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that social networks disseminated the information about the possible resignation of Saigidpasha Umakhanov, the head of Khasavyurt. The information was confirmed by a source familiar with the situation.

According to the source, Saigidpasha Umakhanov will go to Makhachkala for a new job. Meanwhile, he made a condition for his voluntary resignation to appoint "his person" to the post of the Mayor, and he himself was promised a post of a head of one of the divisions of the federal institutions or at least a ministerial post in the government of Dagestan.

Magomed Bisavaliev, the editor-in-chief of the news magazine "Dagestan", believes that Saigidpasha Umakhanov can take a ministerial post.
