Four persons suspected of killing hunters near militants' camp in Dagestan

In the Suleiman-Stalsky District of Dagestan, five hunters were killed in the forest, since they occasionally run against a camp of militants, a law enforcer reports. According to him, four local residents are suspected of the murder.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 18 and 19, power agents found bodies of five killed local residents in the forests of the Suleiman-Stalsky District. A summer camp of militants was discovered not far from the place of the murder.

An official from the Suleiman-Stalsky ROVD (District Interior Division) has reported that the search for the suspected murderers of the hunters is underway. The official has noted that the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was not introduced in the Suleiman-Stalsky District, although additional forces are accumulated in the area.

According to the source, the main version of the murder suggests that the hunters were killed, since they occasionally met militants and, perhaps, run against the militants' camp. The persons suspected of the murder have been preliminary identified: they are members of the "Southern" grouping of militants.

"Four residents of the Suleiman-Stalsky District, members of local criminal grouping, are suspected of the murder," the police officer has stated.

According to local residents, the situation in the Suleiman-Stalsky District is quiet.
