Dugout and three hidings with weapons found in Chechnya
Power agents believe that the discovered hidings and shelter were arranged by militants from the criminal grouping led by field commander Beslan Makhauri and operating near the border between Chechnya and Ingushetia.
According to a source from the power bodies of Chechnya, the hidings were discovered at the Sunzha range of mountains, near Chechen-Ingush administrative border, several kilometres from the village of Sleptsovskaya.
"Three hidings arranged in the form of plastic containers included a hand-held antitank rocket launcher with several shots to it, a large amount of ammunition for firearms, and food," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by an official from the power bodies.
According to the source, in the same area, power agents discovered the dugout carefully camouflaged, in which field investigators found and seized a Kalashnikov submachine gun with ammunition, military equipment, and food.
The law enforcement authorities suggest that the discovered hidings and dugout were arranged by militants from the criminal grouping led by field commander Beslan Makhauri, a native of the Achkhoi-Martan District of Chechnya. His criminal grouping, which mainly consists of local residents, operates in the area of the administrative border between Chechnya and Ingushetia.
