In Sogratl, power agents stop inspecting houses, local residents report

In the village of Sogratl of the Gunib District of Dagestan, power agents have stopped visiting houses for inspection, local residents report. The villagers have noted that they feel no restrictions because of the regime of counterterrorism operation (CTO).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from 6:30 a.m. of September 15, a regime of counterterrorism operation (CTO) was introduced in the Gunib District. On the first day of the special legal regime, the villagers noticed accumulation of military vehicles and power agents in the Gunib District. On September 16, the local residents reported on power agents visiting houses in the village of Sogratl for inspection.

"The situation in Sogratl is calm, and nothing neither searches nor inspections is held here. Moreover, we learned from the news about the CTO. The situation in the village is quiet, and they (power agents) do their work in the mountains, I do not even know where exactly," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Magomed Gadjiomarov, the head of the municipal administration "Sogratlinsky Village Council".

Magomed Gadjiomarov has noted that the villagers were not officially informed about the ongoing special operation. According to him, no curfew or other restrictions were announced in the village.
