Suspected militant blew up in Dagestan
Policemen found, near the village of Maidanskoye, Untsukul District of Dagestan, remains of suspected militant.
The police found that the casualty is the 27-year-old O. Sharaputdinov, a resident of the village of Balakhani, which was blown up by his own bomb. "The power of the explosive device was about 10 kilograms of TNT equivalent. The explosion made a 3-meter diameter crater having depth of half a meter," said a law enforcement source.
"About 120 meters from the blast site, law enforcers found another bomb under dismantled cabin of a KamAZ truck," the RIA "Dagestan" quotes a law enforcement source.
Also at the site they found a submachine gun, a night vision device, a belt with a holster and three electric detonators, an optical range finder, two cell phones and a gas tourist stove, the "LifeNews" reports.
