CTO regime introduced in Khasavyurt District of Dagestan
Power agents are searching for militants in connection with the inquiry into the murder of Magomed Khidirov, the Imam of the mosque of the village of Novy Kurush.
The legal counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced today at 5:00 a.m. Moscow time, the "Interfax" reports.
"The CTO regime has been introduced in the territory between the dwelling settlements of Batayurt Novy Kurush and Sadovoe. Actions aimed at searching and neutralizing members of illegal armed formations (IAFs)," the "Interfax" quotes the spokesman of the local operative headquarters.
The introduction of the above regime is associated with the inquiry into the murder of Magomed Khidirov, the Imam of the mosque of the village of Novy Kurush, the "Chernovik" informs citing its law enforcement source.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 9 Magomed Khidirov was shot dead in front of the local mosque. The crime could be committed by militants of the grouping operating in the territory of the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, said the spokesman for the investigation.
