Dagestani policemen sacked for videoing Chechen law enforcers
The two policemen from Dagestan, who posted a video of questioning their colleagues from Chechnya on the Internet, have lost their jobs for slandering the honour of a law enforcer.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 31 a video record appeared on the YouTube of interrogation of a Chechen policeman, who, according to two Dagestan law enforcers who had detained him, was drunk and emptied himself onto a beach in Makhachkala. A service check was appointed in relation to the two Dagestani policemen.
Today, Fatina Ubaidatova, the head of the press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), told the "Caucasian Knot correspondent that the service check ended with the dismissal of the two above law enforcers.
"The dismissal order was signed on August 5. Firstly, they violated the order of the Russian MIA that a policeman has no right to post on the Internet any materials without the consent of his bosses; secondly, they had posted the information discrediting the honour and dignity of a policeman," she said.
Let us remind you that the experts, earlier interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", said that the incident highlighted the conflict between the power agencies of Dagestan and Chechnya.
