At trial, Deni Mirzoev pleads guilty in fatal road traffic accident

At the court session, a resident of Grozny, a defendant in the case of a road traffic accident in Moscow, which killed a biker, claimed he had fallen asleep while driving the car. He admitted his guilt and announced his willingness to pay compensation to family members of the deceased biker until the end of his life.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 22, in Kutuzovsky Avenue in Moscow, a car with Chechen state number plates hit biker Vitaly Grishin. According to investigators, the car was driven by Deni Mirzoev, who was hospitalized after the road traffic accident. He was charged with violation of traffic rules by negligence, resulting in the death of a person.

On September 1, during the interrogation at the Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow, Deni Mirzoev said that at night of the road traffic accident, he was driving along Kutuzovsky Avenue a car of his friend, which he took from the car service at his friend's request.

"To my deepest regret, I remember only a little of my movement along Kutuzovsky Avenue. However, I remember that there was a strike at a moment. From that, I concluded that I had fallen asleep while driving, although it was strange to me, given my vast driving experience and the fact that I felt normal when I started driving," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Deni Mirzoev as claiming.

The defendant called slightly overstated the civil lawsuits for the amount of 8 million roubles filed by family members of the deceased biker. However, Deni Mirzoev announced his willingness to help the relatives of the deceased biker till the end of his life, the RAPSI (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information) reports.
