Meduza: voters added to pictures of State Duma MP's meeting

The photo report about the meeting of Sergey Obukhov, an MP of the Russian State Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), with residents of Krasnodar contained signs of falsification: additional voters were added to some of the photos, said the edition named "Meduza". Obukhov himself called it an "unsuccessful collage."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 13 the Krasnodar Territory will elect its governor, deputies of the City Duma of Krasnodar and 27 heads of rural and urban settlements.

On August 26, on the eve of elections, the MP Sergey Obukhov held a meeting with local residents in a street of Krasnodar. The photos from the meeting posted on the website of the CPRF and on the Obukhov's page on the social network "VKontakte" have visible signs of falsification, says the website of the "Meduza.io".

With the help of some graphical editor, additional voters have been depicted in some photos. It is noted that the image of one of women-voters was copied to two different photos; and she was already present in one of them.

According to the data of the "Meduza" as of 1:50 p.m., the edited photos were removed from the website of the CPRF, but remained in Obukhov's page on the "VKontakte" social network. By 5:40 p.m., the photos were removed from the page either.

The following posts made by Obukhov contain jokes concerning photo collages; one of them announced a contest for the best collage about the MP.
