Nemtsov's daughter complains to ECtHR about inefficient investigation
Zhanna Nemtsova, the daughter of the politician Boris Nemtsov, who was murdered six months ago, has asked the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) to establish the fact of violation of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), since the customer murder has not been found yet.
Today, the daughter wrote in her page on the Facebook that the investigation of the crime is being sabotaged by Russian authorities.
Vadim Prokhorov, her advocate, said that he had sent a complaint to the ECtHR on Zhanna's behalf. According to his version, the murder of Nemtsov is the only case in Europe in the last 70 years, when an opposition politician was killed, but the customer of the crime was not found.
Mr Prokhorov said that later the victims may ask the ECtHR to consider their complaint in the priority order.
Let us remind you that Zhanna Nemtsova and her advocates insist on questioning the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and relatives of Ruslan Geremeev, a still non-detained figurant of the case, a former officer of the Chechen battalion "Sever" (North). However, investigators refuse to conduct these interrogations.
