Children wounded in explosion in Dorgeli brought to Moscow hospital

An aircraft of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) has delivered to Moscow two children, who suffered from the explosion of a gas cylinder in the village of Dorgeli of the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan. They will receive medical treatment in the Speransky Children's Clinical Hospital No. 9.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 16, the explosion of a gas cylinder in a private house injured six persons, including two children. All six of the injured persons in serious condition were hospitalized to the burn centre of Makhachkala. On August 17, relatives of the victims held a picket in Makhachkala with a demand to send the victims to Moscow for high quality medical care. Tonight, the Russian MfE has sent to Makhachkala an AN-148 aircraft for the evacuation of the affected children to the capital of Russia.

"During the flight, the health state of the children, who got thermal burns as a result of the explosion of the gas cylinder, has not deteriorated," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the Russian MfE as reporting.
