"Rosbalt": Zaur Dadaev got half million roubles for killing Boris Nemtsov
In his initial testimony recorded by a video camera, Zaur Dadaev, the main defendant in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, has mentioned the advance paid for the death of the politician. This has been reported today by the "Rosbalt" with reference to a source in the law enforcement bodies. The defence of Zaur Dadaev voiced scepticism about the information.
Boris Nemtsov was killed in Moscow on February 27. Five persons, including Zaur Dadaev, Anzor and Shagid Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, were detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder and put under arrest.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 17, with reference to the sources familiar with the progress of the investigation, the "RBC" published the material reporting that Zaur Dadaev, the main defendant in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, allegedly confessed that a native of Chechnya nicknamed "Rusik" helped him organize the murder and promised to pay him 5 million roubles for the murder of Boris Nemtsov. On March 10, the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta" reported that the investigators believed the crime had been organized by Ruslan, a close relative of a top-ranking Chechen law enforcer.
Today, the "Rosbalt" reports with reference to a source in the law enforcement bodies that when Zaur Dadaev began to actively cooperate with the investigators, he testified to a video camera.
According to the "Rosbalt", Zaur Dadaev has allegedly confessed that Rusik "not only promised 15 million roubles (5 million roubles to each of the killers) for the murder of Boris Nemtsov, but he also made an advance payment in the amount of 500,000 roubles."
