Message about bomb arrived in US Embassy in Armenia

After receiving an anonymous message, a search of an explosive device in the building of the US Embassy in Yerevan was undertaken by a rescue team, an operative group of the national centre for crisis management and fire-fighters. Later, it turned out that the message was false.

An anonymous message about a bomb planted in the US Embassy was received today by the Ministry for Territorial Management and Emergency Situations of Armenia at 12:48 a.m. local time, said the Ministry, adding that "a signal was received that a bomb had been planted in the US Embassy in Armenia; and that rescuers' help is needed."
