Resident of Ingushetia complains about violations during search
During a search, power agents planted narcotic drugs on her son, said a woman from the Ingush village of Troitskaya. The advocate said that in the autumn of 2014, Alikhan Bokov voluntarily surrendered to the authorities and figured in the case of helping militants; but that case is already closed.
The detention of Alikhan Bokov took place early in the morning on July 4, said Zinaida Varaeva.
During a search in the house of her son Alikhan, power agents put him on the floor with his face down, and forced him to clamp his hands behind his head. "I was close to him, when a power agent wearing a mask came up to my son and put two bags sized of a pigeon's egg into the back pocket of his sports trousers. At first I didn't even realize what they were doing. Then, they forced my son to stand up and told him: 'Show what you have in your pockets.' – 'I have nothing there,' he said, and began checking his pockets, and there were those two bags," said the woman.
According to her story, the whole process was filmed by a video camera. Power agents took the bags and said that narcotic drugs were in them.
According to the woman, on July 6, the Sunzha District Court ruled to place Alikhan Bokov into custody.
Zinaida Varaeva also said that she had repeatedly complained to the Prosecutor's Office of the Sunzha District and to the Investigating Division for the Sunzha District of the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), but her son remains in custody.
