Inoyat Tabukhov headed "central sector" of KBR's armed underground
Inoyat Tabukhov, who was killed during a shootout in Nalchik on August 8, had been the leader of the "central sector" of the armed underground in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), operating in Nalchik and adjacent districts.
According to sources of the "Kommersant", in militants' hierarchy Tabukhov held a high position. "He was in command of the so-called 'central sector' of the bandit underground, which operated in Nalchik and adjacent districts," the "Kommersant" quotes its law enforcement source.
In January 2013, law enforcement bodies of the KBR announced a major reward for help in searching Inoyat Tabukhov. His name was on the list of 34 residents of the KBR, who are wanted for their serious crimes, including terror acts.
"Inoyat Tabukhov went underground in 2012," a law enforcement source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Earlier, power agents assumed that Tabukhov had gone to fight in Syria, the source added, but later it turned out that Inoyat Tabukhov went nowhere and was hiding in Nalchik.
