Power agents detain two residents of Dagestani village of Kumli
Asker Teminov and Murzabek Mullaev were detained in the village of Kumli, Nogai District of Dagestan, in the evening on August 8, local residents have reported. The local ROVD (District Interior Division) has confirmed the detention.
According to local residents, power agents arrived in Kumli in special vehicles in the evening on August 8.
"They arrived in APCs (armoured personnel carriers) and detained a group of guys. It is known that Asker Teminov and Murzabek Mullaev were not released. Firearms were planted on them. Asker was released from prison three months ago' while Murzabek is over 60: he's a former operative agent," a local told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to his story, no advocates were provided to the detainees. The reason for the special operation "could be in the fact of departure of several residents with their families to the Middle East," said the local.
"In winter, several villagers left for the IS (the "Islamic State" recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia, USA, Turkey and other countries, – note of the "Caucasian Knot")," he said.
